The location was particularly good and incredible, just 5 min walk from a book museum. Our room was functional and silent, offered with shower with good water pressure, huge windows, the Art Deco bedroom.
Unfortunately, there was no lift.

Very pleasant hotel rooms and bar.
Offensive manager telling me off for closing a door to loudly as I came down to breakfast. This is a largly a result of there being no hydraulic 'fire-door' hinges on bedroom door (room 1) and no lights on landing (until motion triggered) making exiting from door directly on to top of stairs tricky!

The location is very good as is the tavern and the rooms are nicely decorated with everything you need. Very good hair dryer and shower. The staff were also lovely.
Considering the nice decor in the rooms it was the little things which let it down. The towels, shower curtain (Blue room) and the cushions on the bed which is a nice touch. For me they should have less and wash them oftener.

A charming stay with character
Each morning greeted me with a good continental breakfast, accompanied by the cheerful staff. The art deco design of my room added a unique charm to my stay.
Occasional noises from the street early in the morning could be disruptive.

Staff members are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is okay.
The internet connection is very bad and you have to go to the reception after every 4 hours to ask for a new code. No desk in the room, only a chair and you do not have so much place for your staff. Actually this kind of room is good for 1 or maybe 2 nights.

It's just next to the shopping centre and to the grand place is within walkin distance.
Mainly the stairs as we lived on the top floor (but nice view); and for the toilet it's a bit small...

My room was spacious with big windows and a lovely view of a church. The decor was stylish, with a glass wall between the bedroom and bathroom. The vibes of the bar area were cozy.

Very handy for getting about inthe city. Many restaurants in vicinity and museums. The decor in the rooms are bright, modern and tasteful.
The only minus point for Esperance is that there is no elevetor.

Staff treated the Guest Friendly
Very Tiny Room. The sink was in the room rather than in the wc. No place for hanging clothes just a fixed racket on the wall

I loved the unique art deco room. The bed was huge, and the bathroom was spacious and newly made. The stylish bar downstairs had friendly service and nice drinks. It was convenient to walk to shopping areas and attractions like the old town.

Nothing, it was very poor
The hotel has pretensions of being a design hotel but it is in an unpleasant neighbourhood and has been renovated on the cheap

Very quaint and visually attractive in great location.
Shower wasn't 100% clean, for example a used soap wrapper was on the floor
